Setting up a PCPROXHID Clock

The setup of a PCPROXHID is a two-step process.  First you must add the PCPROXHID clock into PayClock Online. Secondly you would finish the setup at the clock itself. Important Note: Record the serial number from the time clock.  You will need this in order to add the clock to PayClock Online. The PCPROXHID allows for you to use either an Ethernet cable or WI-FI connection to PayClock Online.

Step 1 - Add the PCPROXHID time clock to PayClock Online.

1. Select Clocks from the navigation list.
2. From the slide out menu select Manage Clocks.
3. Select the + New button.
4. Select PCPROXHID and choose + Select.
5. Enter the serial number from the time clock in the Serial Number field.
6. Enter an identifier for the time clock in the Device Nickname field.
7. Select Save.

Step 2 - Set up the PCPROXHID and connect to PayClock Online.

1. Connect the network cable if using Ethernet, connect the power supply to the PCPROXHID time clock.
2. Plug in the power supply to an outlet and wait for the Hello screen.
3. Tap Continue and select the connection type.
4. After completing the connection type set up, tap the back arrow (←).
5. The Connection Test will begin, when it finishes tap Continue.
6. The PCPROXHID will automatically check and install any software updates. Note: If multiple updates are needed the start up process will be repeated.
7. After that, the PCPROXHID will be operational.
8. Tap the sprocket button and then enter the default PIN: 99999
9. The Settings menu will open, tap Sync Now, the PCPROXHID will connect to PayClock Online to download settings and employees.
10. The PCPROXHID is now ready to be used.
